My project is based on two types of tea packages. One of them is made from plastic and the other one is made from aluminum. Both of those packages prevent tea leaves from getting water, sunlight and keep them fresh. And it's also very convenient to use. As the illustration itself, I get inspired by our own tea plantations which are located in different parts of my country.

As we can see the tea plantations are located between huge and beautiful mountains which bring you thoughts of fresh ar and clean atmosphere. So by making this kind of design, I tried my best to make customers of this product to feel the same feelings of fresh, cozy and relaxed atmosphere as if they are in the middle of mountains with their time while drinking hot tea.

We were approached by startup Chemimed to create packaging for their debut range of value vitamins. Their brief was simple: to create a brand, and packaging design that would appeal to cost-conscious shoppers who want to live healthier lives but may be confused by the hard-to-navigate VMS category.

With a retailer already lined up, we were given one other specification - the design had to stand out against the dark lighting behind the till and be eye-catching enough to tempt busy Londis, Premiere and Budgens shoppers who are unlikely to take their time browsing.

Villa Luisa is a small winery on the hills of Cenate, an area formerly suited to viticulture in the province of Bergamo. The building that houses the winery is a wonderful villa surrounded by the vineyards, which hosts art exhibitions, tastings and cultural events.

The label designed for the new line of wines – inspired by surrealism – paint a dreamy villa, floating between heaven and earth. Between dream and reality. Between the past and the future.

MIXIT is one of the largest Russian brands in the field of makeup products. Today, more than 180 MIXIT retail stores are open, the company has the most successful commercial Instagram among Russian cosmetic brands with an audience of 3.8 million subscribers. MIXIT, known primarily for skincare products, decided to launch a new direction — a line of decorative cosmetics. The company collaborated with ARENAS®lab for research, positioning and the graphic concept of the new line.

After analyzing the research results, the ARENAS®lab team formulated authentic MIXIT Art positioning. It was decided to create a dynamic brand, based on not a frozen image, but an active story:
  • MIXIT provides everything you need to create daring, memorable looks;
  • The brand casts doubt on established authorities, draws inspiration from the unusual, is not afraid to shock and joke;
  • Cosmetics that need to be applied for hours —​​​​​​​ a relic of the past. MIXIT offers simple and quick solutions for effective makeup;

ARENAS®lab developed a packaging design based on positioning — bright, bold, as well as the target audience of MIXIT cosmetics.

Brief:
Kingsland Drinks had recently found an exciting new vineyard on the West coast's Washington State. Due to appear on Waitrose shelves in early 2020, we were tasked with creating a premium label that would stand out on a shelf.

Solution:
Awash with a sea of white labels, we wanted to create something more refined and based on a poem created by one of the team at Kingsland, we created a label that balanced simplicity with premium cues.

Between the Vines you'll find, secrets revealed and wines divine. Stories of nurture, love and care, if you read, you'll discover, and be honored to share. A work of art, people may say, to find those hidden gems, off the beaten track they lay. Read Between the Vines, what do you see?... A vision of craftsmanship, passion, after a sip, you'll agree.

As a product refresh for Kingsland to be exclusively sold in Waitrose, Between the Vines needed a new positioning and packaging design with a difference.

As its place of origin, Washington State is a premium wine-producing region located in the northwest corner of the United States. Although a relatively young wine industry, it is the nation's second-largest wine producer and is ranked among the world's top wine regions. Most of its Merlot wine is produced in the hot desert-like eastern area, which boasts longer hours of sunlight and beautiful copper sunsets.

Like the Waitrose brand, this product had to be seen as a premium. To reflect this, we created a design that was not only simple but effortlessly elegant. Achieved by using vertical lines, this illusion added grandeur as well as making the bottle appear taller and thinner. The lines encapsulate the 'Between the Vines' in the centre and are finished with a premium copper foil, which illuminates from the jet-black label.

La Lepre e la Luna (The hare and the moon) is an ancient Oriental legend from which this Italian winery took its name. The story tells the adventures of three friends, a hare, a fox and a monkey living and roaming around the woods together. One day, they meet an ancient wanderer asking for food: the fox, being a cunning hunter, brings him some wild game; the monkey, being good at climbing trees, gives him some fruit. The hare, not having any particular skill, jumps into the fire and offers herself as a gift. Moved by her sacrifice, the ancient wanderer reveals himself to be God and decides to take the hare's remains to Heaven, to imprint her image on the moon and make her eternal.

Pin family company commissioned us to create an identity for the traditional "Salsa Fresca" products. Handmade Italian sauces for pasta & pizza, made with the most delicious & fresh ingredients. They wanted to blend the heritage of the family on the Italian products with the new ideas and of course the love for pasta.

To pay tribute to the heritage, we create an iconic avatar, Mr. Pin which represents the love of the family on the traditional products and for pasta. We wanted to show the pleasure on his eyes when eating pasta. For the identity, we mix modern shapes and layout, with pastel colours inspired by the Italian countryside. The overall goal was to keep it simple with as little ingredients as possible.

Beautanic seeks to highlight and care for the beauty of women, with a vegan and natural choice of skincare products. They differ by the particular selection of their ingredients, without the use of preservatives or practices with animals. The aim was to emphasize the concept of nature in these products. Also, the watercolor illustrations of the ingredients and pastel colors that were included in the design reflected the brand's minimalist and organic concept.

Brief:
Having found a beautiful wine based in the Kei Puta te Wairau valley in Marlborough, New Zealand. Direct wines wanted a visual presence that broke free from the typical New Zealand Sauvignon.

Solution:
Delving into the Maori culture in the area, we found a story based on the relationship between the Earth and the Sky. What better story could encapsulate the cultivation of grapes than this. Our approach created a truly unique design, and one that had pre-sales sold out within 48 hours.

As the Māori legend goes, the world was created by a God and Goddess, Ranginui, the Sky Father and Papatūānuku, the Earth Mother. With a love so fierce they could not be apart, they held each other together within a loving embrace that shrouded the world in a shadow of darkness and leafy vegetation. In time they produced several children, who miserable in these cramped conditions, prised their parents apart. This forced the bright clouded Sky to stand above as a stranger, and the Earth to lie below as a nurturing Mother.

New Zealand has some of the world’s most southerly grape-growing regions, where the vineyards benefit from the moderating effect of the maritime climate. No vineyard is more than 120km from the ocean, with long days and nights cooled by sea breezes and vast amounts of beautiful foliage.

Inspired by its place of origin, this New Zealand wine is centred around the tales of the Māori tribes. Just like the traditional carved body art of its people, the design captures the legend in meticulous detail using striking illustration and sharp black and white contrasts. The label is finished with a raised gloss, like the Māori tattoo markings that raise on the skin, quickly grabbing the attention of those who pass by.

This is a CD album cover for a starting up band called "The Last Wolves" who did their own interpretation and translation of seven songs of Viktor Tsoi. Viktor Tsoi was a famous Soviet singer and songwriter who co-founded Kino. This is going to be the first CD album to be published for my client, Izyaslav Koza, who is the vocalist in the group.

The painting is done in watercolor and edited digitally.
