AUR Body is a start-up from California. AUR Bodys CBD Hemp Oil is all natural. It can be used to soothe aches, calm nerves, and ease pains in a safe, non-prescription, non-addictive way. The request of the client and founder Dori Light was to introduce this product as a serious alternative way to ease pain. At the same time she wanted to avoid the typical weed cliche in the visual appearance.

Our goal was it to find the right balance between a serious and clean branding with a twist of fun. Another important aspect for the branding was to show the natural power of this product. So i decided with the client to create a set of unique icon illustration that play with the symbolics of natural power, like water, the moon, the sun, the universe. In contrast to this fun icons i choose a clean and bold Logotype and a classic composition on the label design. The logo type comes with an icon too. It shows a jar where a hemp plants grows in. Thats way we introduce the hemp plant and avoid the typical weed leaf.

We aimed to deliver traditional look & feel through visual elements that would evoke the feeling of buying an originally domestic, traditional and quality product. We knew that the Mountain cheese is already a statement for itself and an already recognizable product that needed a certain visual "boost" that would emphasize its main characteristics and attributes and strengthen the connection with its consumers.

Location: Athens, Greece

Packaging Substrate / Materials: Aluminium can, glass bottle

Valhalla - A brutal American beer

The challenge: Valhalla is a conceptual project for an American beer that invites you to conquer your Viking thirst with its amazing taste. Beer was indeed an integral part of the Norse society. It was a perfect beverage to bring on seaborne journeys because it had a longer shelf life, which allowed warriors to embark on longer expeditions without having to stop for fresh water.

Taking inspiration from Vikings and the Norse mythology, our conceptual beer bears the brand name of a majestic, enormous hall, where god Odin welcomed the dead warriors. They lived there a life after death that would have been the envy of any Viking warrior. All day long, they fought one another but every evening all their wounds were healed and they were restored to full health.

Design: Gabriela Dule
Project Type: Produced, Commercial Work
Client: Domany GmbH
Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany
Packaging Contents: Supplements
Packaging Substrate / Materials: Paper, plastic

sinnesvoll comes from the german word sinnvoll which means full of senses.

The brand name reflects the meaning of the products themselves. Supplements provide valuable nutrients to the daily diet, covering specific needs of the body .

sinnesvoll is a brand new company from Frankfurt am Main, Germany, with the main focus on the online market and especially Amazon.de platform.

According to the brief, the brand and particularly the packging design should have a natural touch, as the ingedients are natural as well. While the word "natural" reminds leaves and trees, is not only that. My approach to the "natural" was different. Based on the colors that the nature creates in different conditions, the colors of the products and the texture of the paper, I could create a strong brand identity that represents exactly what sinnesvoll is, from the name to the ingredients.

Back Room Bucha was born literally, in the back room of the creative department at Outfront Studios. (Part of Outfront Media) We love drinking kombucha tea and the health benefits it provides, but it can add up quickly when you are drinking it everyday. So this is why we decided to start brewing our own! AND we are designers after all, so it seemed perfectly logical to create our own branding to accompany our tasty brews. Bottles are shared with co workers, friends and family. It's not only a fun side project to share with others, but also great to share in something that has lots of health benefits!

We created a packaging which leaves the health argument, typical of bifidus yoghurts, in the background, to concentrate on conveying values of naturalness; the environmental commitment of a rich and tasty product.

We revisited the packaging for the whole range to define the visual structure and the architecture of the messages.

By renewing the brand and all the visual codes of the product, we chose to leverage communication in a trusted vector, with typical iconic elements of Basque culture, which serve both to attract the customer and to evoke the origin of the product.

Idea:
The idea behind the concept was to offer different product sizes in stores: a small, inexpensive box allows the consumer to try this unknown product without spending too much money, whilst bigger sizes can be acquired afterwards as well. This also makes it easier to make the first choice as to which of the three different intensities of the ground green tea ultimately appeals to the consumer.
